Requirements
- Minimumof two years of current and/or recent audit experience in public accounting
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university and be eligible to sit for theCPA exam in the state of your home office and must meet minimum educationalrequirements for the CPA licensure
- Appliedworking knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) andaccounting procedures
- Abilityto meet challenging client requirements demonstrated supervisory experiencealong with strong communication interpersonal analytical skills and researchabilities
- Adhereto the firms values and code of conduct
- Abilityand willingness to travels needed
Responsibilities
- Executethe day-to-day activities of audit engagements including Securities andExchange Commission (SEC) registrants and supporting the execution of ahigh-quality audit
- Identifyand communicate potential issues and opportunities for audit efficiencies andprocess improvement to Managers and Partners
- Coordinatethe day-to-day activities of audits and client interactions and ensuringefficient information flow from the client to the audit team
- Supportthe design and execution of an engagements audit approach and procedures inaccordance with relevant regulatory professional auditing and assurancestandards and applicable firm guidance and KPMG methodology
- Demonstratea working knowledge and staying current on developments in accountingliterature including those specific to assigned industries
- SuperviseAudit Associates and Interns on engagements and providing coaching timelyfeedback and reviewing their audit documentation
