Requirements

  • Minimumof two years of current and/or recent audit experience in public accounting
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university and be eligible to sit for theCPA exam in the state of your home office and must meet minimum educationalrequirements for the CPA licensure
  • Appliedworking knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) andaccounting procedures
  • Abilityto meet challenging client requirements demonstrated supervisory experiencealong with strong communication interpersonal analytical skills and researchabilities
  • Adhereto the firms values and code of conduct
  • Abilityand willingness to travels needed

Responsibilities

  • Executethe day-to-day activities of audit engagements including Securities andExchange Commission (SEC) registrants and supporting the execution of ahigh-quality audit
  • Identifyand communicate potential issues and opportunities for audit efficiencies andprocess improvement to Managers and Partners
  • Coordinatethe day-to-day activities of audits and client interactions and ensuringefficient information flow from the client to the audit team
  • Supportthe design and execution of an engagements audit approach and procedures inaccordance with relevant regulatory professional auditing and assurancestandards and applicable firm guidance and KPMG methodology
  • Demonstratea working knowledge and staying current on developments in accountingliterature including those specific to assigned industries
  • SuperviseAudit Associates and Interns on engagements and providing coaching timelyfeedback and reviewing their audit documentation
