The Opportunity: We're actively seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you'll take the lead on audits, reviews, and other assurance engagements for a diverse range of clients. You'll work directly with clients, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance every step of the way. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's or CPA preferred)
  • CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam
  • 3-5+ years of public accounting experience focused on audit/assurance
  • Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and internal controls
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and audit/accounting software (e.g., CaseWare, ProSystem fx Engagement)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead audits, reviews, and compilations from planning through completion
  • Prepare and review workpapers and financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other applicable standards
  • Mentor junior staff and manage multiple client engagements
  • Conduct internal control and risk assessments to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Communicate proactively with clients regarding engagement progress, audit findings, and recommendations
  • Research and resolve complex accounting and auditing issues
  • Ensure engagements comply with professional and firm standards, as well as deadlines
