Our strategy is to be digitally driven, industry-aligned, and focused on the middle market. As our firm expands, we seek an Audit Partner who will also be our next Louisville Market Leader. Previous service line, regional, market, or industry leadership experience is desirable. In this highly visible role, you’ll collaborate with Firm leaders, service line, and industry partners to develop and drive the growth strategy agenda for our Louisville practice that serves middle-market, private equity backed and public companies. We're looking for a results-driven, market-facing partner who will contribute to expanding the practice by using their strong professional network presence, and by engaging in business development opportunities with other firm leaders. Exceptional business development experience and client relationship skills are necessary. Our ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of middle market commercial industries which may include Industrials & Consumer Goods (manufacturing, distribution, retail), Technology, and/or Private Equity. This position will be based in Louisville, and a strong existing network in Louisville is required. Limited travel should be expected.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Masters preferred.
  • Must be CPA certified and have an active CPA license.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience with a large local, regional or national public accounting firm.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving growth and building an office, practice, industry group, service line or similar.
  • Ability to drive success through the influencing of Partners and staff.
  • A strong existing network in Louisville is required.
  • Exceptional business development experience and client relationship skills are necessary.

  • Previous service line, regional, market, or industry leadership experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently grow the practice through expansion of services to existing clients, cross selling with other advisory practices, and obtaining new clients.
  • Serve as the face of the Firm to the local market team and the local marketplace
  • Execute the Firm and Audit Service Line vision, strategy, and goals for the Louisville audit practice, as well as support other leaders in their execution of the strategic plan.
  • Lead Market execution of Firm strategy and goals through reinforcement of Firm Vision
  • Model and champion of Firm’s shared values
  • Ensure proper communication flow to the market related to Firm initiatives
  • Develop professionals within the practice and build a talent pipeline with the requisite technical expertise.
  • Drive consistency, collaboration and communication among Service Line, Market Leaders, Shared Service Leaders, Advisory and Industry Leaders as well as with other stakeholders.
