The Audit Manager is responsible for supervising, directing, and reviewing audit client engagement results through all stages (planning, field work, and wrap-up). This role also includes marketing, networking, and business development, as well as ensuring engagement profitability through billings and collections. Key responsibilities include advising clients on economic and regulatory risks, resolving complex accounting issues, applying GAAP and GAAS, writing technical consultation memos, and assessing financial reporting control systems.
