About The Position

SD Associates P.C. is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and organized Audit Manager / Assurance Manager to join our team in Elkins Park, PA. This position is full-time and will work from our office in Elkins Park, with hybrid flexibility. We are looking for an individual who is career-minded and willing to learn, work hard, develop, and grow, and who sees themselves as an integral member of the audit team and a trusted business advisor.

Requirements

• 8+ years of auditing experience, including previous experience working for a CPA firm
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• CPA license
• Competent working knowledge of US GAAP and GAAS, and the ability to research and resolve complex accounting issues
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Solid research and writing skills, excellent verbal communication and presentation skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of staff and clients
• Leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to manage engagements
• Ability to adhere to a high degree of professional standards and client confidentiality

Nice To Haves

• Nonprofit experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Supervise, review, and develop team members of multiple client engagements in a wide variety of industries
• Perform engagements under audit, review, and compilation standards
• Communicate with clients on related audit matters
• Develop audit plans and coordinate with staff and manage firm risk on audits and proposals
• Review reports, workpapers and management letters
