About The Position

At PwC, our people in audit and assurance focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. They evaluate compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls. In financial statement audit at PwC, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Required cumulative GPA: 3.0
  • Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate (i.e., read, write, speak) with business level fluency in Japanese and English.

  • Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.3
  • Demonstrating interest in auditing and public accounting
  • Basic knowledge of financial and managerial accounting
  • Basic knowledge of taxation and financial reporting systems

  • Client service intern positions are entry-level and job seekers are traditionally either in their 3rd year of a 4 year degree program or in the 4th year of a 5 year program.
