About The Position
Summer Intern - Audit (Non-Remote - Greenville, SC) Where accuracy meets insight-explore the impact of internal audit this summer. We're looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Audit Intern to join our Internal Audit team for a 10-week summer program. This internship provides hands-on experience in auditing practices, internal controls, and compliance within a dynamic financial services environment. As an intern, you'll collaborate with experienced auditors, contribute to real audit projects, and gain exposure to how internal audit supports organizational integrity across departments. You'll also build valuable skills in analysis, communication, and professional judgment-laying the foundation for a successful career in finance or accounting.
Requirements
- College students or rising high school graduates with a minimum 3.0 GPA or better
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
- Energetic, organized, detail-oriented with proficiency in Microsoft 365 (including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams) and comfort using modern workplace technology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective in both one-on-one and group settings
- Independent worker
- Ability to dedicate 35-40 hours per week to this intern program
- Ability to work in-office in Greenville, SC
- Must be able to pass a criminal background and credit check
- This is a full-time non-remote position
Responsibilities
- Assist in performing internal audits across various departments and business units.
- Support the documentation and evaluation of internal controls.
- Participate in walkthroughs and testing of financial and operational processes.
- Help prepare audit findings and recommendations for management review.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of audit assignments.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
