This position offers some flexibility of location within the current hybrid work model. The Audit & Fiscal Compliance Monitor ensures that funding awarded by EEC through this grant is spent according to the requirements of the grant, the terms and conditions of the contract, and according to the applicable regulations of the state oversight agency (Office of the State Comptroller, OSC) as well as federal regulations. The Audit & Fiscal Compliance Monitor will be responsible to review grantee budgets and expenditures to ensure that the requirements of the grants are met. In addition, the Audit & Fiscal Compliance Monitor reviews the contractor’s management procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP) and all relevant state and federal regulations. This position requires the person to have access to a vehicle and travel for approximately 80%25 of the time.
