About The Position

The Audit Analyst will be responsible for the review of distributor rebates, pricing and return claims according to selling policy 25-000 guidelines. Auditing the authenticity of rebates will be accomplished by analyzing sales data by product type using Excel and internal programs such as OBIEE, Power BI, SAP BW Reporting and several ERP systems. Audit findings will include collecting unauthorized transactions from customers and incorporating recommendations for future improvements in policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 2 years of pricing, audit, accounting or similar experience required
  • Knowledge of pricing terms and conditions
  • Understanding of pricing structures (list price, net price, discounts, TSP, book price, etc.).
  • Knowledge of rebate programs, claims processing, and eligibility rules.
  • Familiarity with customer pricing agreements, contract terms, and promotional pricing.
  • Understanding of how pricing impacts gross margin, revenue, and financial leakage.
  • General computer skills and experience (Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, Power BI, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Oracle/SAP or similar programs
  • Ability to understand financial theory and effect of claim clearances on profitability

Responsibilities

  • Assist in establishment of audit schedule for onsite and in-house rebate audits. Once audit schedule is completed, maintain a schedule and complete all requirements required for completion of individual audits.
  • Provide support and guidance for enhancing sales rebate processes through: 1) monitor submitted claim requests and sales audits, 2) partner with sales, pricing and customers to resolve rebate discrepancies, 3) Review and recommend system enhancements to ensure systems are functioning as per Eaton rebate policy.
  • Work with IT and Vistex team to suggest enhancements to the audit program to provide efficiencies and prevent leakage.
  • Focus monthly on key metrics that track audit program outstanding audits versus completed audits and special audit requests.
  • Submit quarterly operations reports which outline root cause problems, action plans, conclusions and process improvements based on audit findings.
  • Review Palantir, Book Price/TSP report daily.
  • Provide guidance and training as required in proper procedures to process claims.
  • Resolve customer pricing discrepancies by collaborating with Pricing/Product Line/Finance.
