About The Position

Join Axos Bank's immersive 12-week Summer Internship Program to gain hands-on experience, contribute to enterprise initiatives, and develop professional skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven financial environment. Along with your day-to-day job duties, you will take part in a capstone project, sessions with our business leaders, financial literacy training courses, Corporate Finance Institute trainings, and a volunteer day. Interns choose between one of two sessions. Session 1: May 27 - August 14 Session 2: June 17 - September 4.

Responsibilities

• Performs analysis of assigned internal business areas and procedures to ensure compliance; makes recommendations to enhance operations and operational efficiencies.
• Assist with examination of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance by performing tests of controls (design and effectiveness) within key business processes.
• Ensure SOX testing and evidence is sufficient to attain and support conclusions.
• COSO component documentation and testing.
• Consult with Management to provide guidance on improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Internal Audit Department.
