Requirements

  • A minimum of three years’ experience providing audiovisual production support to live events, meetings, and webinars
  • A minimum of three years related hands on experience troubleshooting Audiovisual (AV) and Videoconferencing (VTC) equipment and control systems
  • Ability to set up and operate audiovisual, videoconference, and live event equipment
  • Thorough knowledge of protocols and AV design, including signal flow, VLANs, H.323, H.264, SIP, WebRTC, and H.239 duo-video, video bridging and gateways, and applicable platforms, including Zoom, WebEx, and Microsoft Teams
  • A high level of skill in the operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of advanced video conferencing systems and integrated audio-visual solutions
  • Strong customer service and communication skills; the ability to interact professionally with and support all levels within the organization
  • Ability to frequently walk for up to 60% of work day
  • Ability to push equipment cart of approximately 50 pounds
  • Ability to be onsite five days per week; provide support on emergency basis and respond to emergency calls
  • Ability to travel to other firm offices for project or coverage support needs
  • Minimum of three years experience providing audiovisual production support to live events, meetings, and webinars.
  • Minimum of three years related hands on experience troubleshooting Audiovisual (AV) and Videoconferencing (VTC) equipment and control systems such as Crestron control systems, Switching / routing / interfacing technology; Videoconferencing and audioconferencing technologies, Cisco VTC codecs, Neat VTC, Audio and video components, including audio DSPs and analog and digital switchers
  • The ability to set up and operate audiovisual, videoconference, and live event equipment, including but not limited to: microphones, speakers, monitors, projectors, video cameras, recording equipment, AV cables and wires, mixing boards, and relevant software
  • Thorough knowledge of protocols and AV design, including signal flow, VLANs, H.323, H.264, SIP, WebRTC, and H.239 duo-video, video bridging and gateways, and applicable platforms, including Zoom, WebEx, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Highly skilled in the operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of advanced video conferencing systems and integrated audio-visual solutions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, determine and evaluate, complex AV/VC related connection issues and performance problems, escalating to the proper level of notification, and assisting in the scheduling for repair if necessary.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills; the ability to interact professionally with and support all levels within the organization, including the ability to train non-technical users on technical systems and equipment
  • Ability to operate digital audio consoles (A1)
  • The ability to identify, define and analyze equipment issues
  • The ability to develop technical documentation
  • Coordinate the firm's event technology requests in room reservations application NFS Rendezvous and service desk platform (ServiceNow)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating workflow and multiple tickets/tasks
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a high functioning team
  • The ability to learn new technologies and support new systems

Responsibilities

  • Working with Marketing and Business Development leaders to schedule webinars, virtual and hybrid conferences, and determine technical requirements
  • Operating audio mixer, video/graphics switcher, and camera controls, and Zoom for live events
  • Providing advance and real-time support to connected participants; troubleshooting connectivity, audio and video service quality issues
  • Supporting conference room equipment such as video codecs, projectors, audio equipment, and conference phones
  • Serving as escalation point to Service Desk staff in troubleshooting and resolving AV-related problems; assisting firmwide Hardware and AV Support teams with setups and an escalation point
  • Conducting AV equipment testing and assessments; analyzing needs, making recommendations, and obtaining quotes
  • Monitoring workflow, Service Desk queues, external connection requests, and team escalations
