Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and current enrollment in an accredited Au.D. program required
  • 3 years of academic coursework and clinical practicum completed required
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide a full range of audiologic diagnostic and rehabilitative services to patients under the supervision of licensed Audiologists.
  • Administers audiological tests to all patient populations, including but not limited to, pure-tone testing, speech audiometry, tympanometry, auditory brainstem response testing, otoacoustic emissions testing, central auditory processing tests, and tinnitus evaluations.
  • Provides rehabilitative services, including hearing aid evaluations and fitting, hearing aid troubleshooting and repair, cochlear implant evaluation, mapping, follow-up, and assistive listening devices.
  • Prepares clinical reports and departmental paperwork as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
