The audiologist will be an integral part of our otolaryngology practice as well as a large multispecialty group. Our clinic is committed to providing our patients with the latest in hearing healthcare technology, including cochlear implants, bone-anchored hearing aids, and Earlens. Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in West Virginia and Kentucky
- Experience in diagnostic audiology, hearing aid fitting, and balance therapy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations including pure-tone and speech audiometry, immittance testing, otoacoustic emissions, and auditory brainstem response testing
- Conduct videonystagmography (VNG) testing for patients with dizziness and balance disorders
- Dispense and fit hearing aids, including counseling on the use and care of hearing aids
- Perform hearing aid follow-up and adjustment appointments
- Participate in community outreach activities, including hearing screenings and educational seminars
- Work collaboratively with our team of physicians, audiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in audiology
- Provide services to satellite clinics in the surround area
