About The Position

Conduct hearing evaluations and diagnostic tests to assess hearing and balance function. Prescribe, fit, and adjust hearing aids and other assistive listening devices. Provide rehabilitation services for patients with hearing impairments, including auditory training and counseling. Manage and treat tinnitus and balance disorder patients. Advise patients and their families on communication strategies and coping mechanisms for dealing with hearing loss. Maintain detailed patient records and follow-up care plans. Stay updated with advancements in audiology practices, equipment, and technologies. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients with hearing and balance issues.

Requirements

• Hold a doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) or hold a masters degree in audiology from an accredited education institution prior to January 1, 2008. (Required)
• Possess Audiologist Licensure (Required)
• BLS Certification
• Familiarity with and the ability to operate specialized equipment used for diagnosing and treating auditory-related issues.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
