Requirements

  • Master's degree in Audiology
  • No experience required
  • Resuscitation Certification Requirement: Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) required within 90 day of employment. Other resuscitation certifications may be required dependent on department.
  • State of Work Location: Illinois Audiologist, Licensed - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
  • State of Work Location: Missouri Audiologist - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
  • State of Work Location: Oklahoma Audiologist - Oklahoma Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology
  • State of Work Location: Wisconsin Audiologist - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services OR WI Audiologist Temporary Permit - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic testing to assess patient's hearing and vestibular status and to determine appropriate treatment.
  • Develops, documents, implements and evaluates hearing correction plan.
  • Provides hearing device modifications.
  • Educates and counsels patients, caregivers and family members on treatment options and continuing care.
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
