Position Highlights: Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and diagnostic testing to assess hearing and balance function. Perform hearing aid evaluations, fittings, programming, and repairs using advanced digital technology and accessories Provide patient education on hearing aid use, maintenance, and assistive listening devices. Administer specialized diagnostic services, including: o Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) Screening o Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) Testing o Vestibular assessments including VNG, VEMP and Rotary chair (some locations) o Epley maneuvers Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with clinical standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support holistic patient care. Function independently in clinical decision-making, patient evaluation, and treatment planning while adhering to professional and ethical standards. Maintain a professional and compassionate approach to patient interactions. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in-office patient care. Kelsey-Seybold offers quality medical care in 65 medical specialties. The organization operates the largest freestanding Ambulatory Surgery Center in Texas. It offers state-of-the-art Varian TrueBeam and Varian Edge radiation therapy technology at a nationally accredited Cancer Center. Its comprehensive offerings include an accredited Sleep Center, comprehensive laboratory services, advanced imaging and diagnostics, and on-site Kelsey Pharmacy locations. Requirements

  • Licensed in Audiology by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TLDR)
  • Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or equivalent.
  • Strong clinical skills in audiological assessment, hearing aid technology, and various diagnostic testing.
  • Ability to function independently with sound clinical judgment and minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible

Nice To Haves

  • Fellowship status with the American Academy of Audiology preferred, not required.
