We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to provide advanced diagnostic, vestibular, and hearing aid services within our audiology clinic. This role focuses on comprehensive patient care, hearing technology management, and clinic support operations, working collaboratively with providers in a well-equipped clinical setting. The Polyclinic joined Optum in 2019, working together across the Puget Sound, the partnership means we’re able to expand our services and locations to offer even more services. Requirements

  • Doctoral Degree in Audiology (Au.D or Ph.D) or MS in Audiology
  • Unrestricted Washington State Audiology license or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • 1+ years of clinical audiology experience

Nice To Haves

  • Vestibular testing, including VNG
  • Membership in AAA and/or ASHA
  • Experience working with insurance-driven hearing aid programs
  • Experience with Lyric devices

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive hearing evaluations, including audiometry, tympanometry, ABR, OAE, and UNHS
  • Opportunity to perform vestibular testing (VNG, vHIT, VEMP); training support available as needed
  • Manage complex diagnostic cases and recommend appropriate next steps or referrals
  • Fit, program, and manage hearing aids and assistive devices
  • Perform ear impressions and support HPD fittings
  • Maintain hearing aid inventory, supplies, and in-office repair capabilities
  • Order hearing aids and accessories and oversee vendor coordination
  • Ensure annual calibration and proper functioning of all audiologic equipment
  • Serve as a subject matter resource for hearing aid technology and clinical best practices
  • Work within insurance coverage requirements related to audiology and hearing aids
  • Support efficient clinic operations and high standards of patient care
