Audiologist

Mayo ClinicRochester, MN

About The Position

We are currently hiring a full-time clinical audiologist. An audiologist provides services for the prevention, identification, diagnosis, consultation, and rehabilitation of patients with hearing and balance disorders. Audiologists at Mayo Clinic work in a variety of specialties within the scope of practice. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team leveraging the latest evidence-based approaches to deliver exceptional patient care. This audiologist position is split between pediatric diagnostic assessments and hearing aid services, with roughly half of the time dedicated to each area. For example, the audiologist may spend mornings conducting pediatric evaluations and afternoons supporting our hearing aid program. As part of our pediatric team, the audiologist will be responsible for conducting the full range of pediatric audiological assessments on complex patients. This includes behavioral audiometry (VRA, CPA), otoacoustic emissions, auditory brainstem response, and auditory steady-state response testing. Additional support is provided by an assistant or another audiologist as needed for very young or medically involved patients. Audiologists in our hearing aid program perform consultations, device fittings, and follow-up services for adult and pediatric patients using traditional hearing aids and osseo-integrated hearing devices. Our team works with all major hearing aid manufacturers to ensure we meet the individual needs of each patient. Candidates should be comfortable performing real-ear measurements. Please include a cover letter with your application detailing your interest in the role.
