The Audiologist determines the type and degree of hearing impairment and implements rehabilitation services. The Audiologist administers and interprets a variety of tests to determine impairment, site of damage, and the effects on comprehension and/or speech. The successful candidate will exhibit strong: customer service skills, clinical skills and patient outcomes. They must practice with high moral and professional standards and be driven toward continuous professional development. Must be able to interact with physicians on patient outcomes. Effective time management and teamwork skills are an essential quality that will allow success in contributing to the operation of the Health System. Has responsibility towards supervision of technical and clerical staff in the direct care and the operational aspects of the department. Has access to confidential patient information.
