Requirements

  • Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) and Illinois Audiology license.
  • No experience required.
  • Audiology credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in ENT setting preferred.
  • Experience fitting hearing aids preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates and treats patients requiring audiologic intervention.
  • Performing audiologic evaluations during physician's clinics.
  • Selecting, fitting, and managing hearing aid patients.
  • Completing hearing aid repairs for walk in and drop off patients.
  • Perform VNGs, ABRs, and newborn hearing screening follow up.
  • Evaluate and manage tinnitus patients.
  • Educates and counsels patient and family regarding results and treatment plans.
  • Maintains clinical records and follows performance improvement recommendations.
  • Provides information regarding appropriate support programs.
