About The Position

Provides a continuum of Audiology services that include the prevention, identification, diagnosis, consultation and treatment of patients with hearing or communication impairments. May participate in the implementation of the infant hearing screening and assessment program at UHCMC, program development, student preceptor ship and other advanced Audiologists duties.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Audiology (Required)
• 2+ years of experience in a medical setting with adult and pediatric patients, hearing aids, OAEs, ENGs, and evoked response audiometry (Required)
• Licensed by the State of Ohio to practice Audiology or awaiting Ohio Licensure in status of Licensure Applicant (Required)
• Must have Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) (Required)
• Fundamental knowledge and the ability to apply the principles and practices related to Audiology, appropriate to the developmental/chronological age of patients on caseload (Required proficiency)
• Exposure and familiarity with audiometric equipment including audiometers, audiometric booths, immittance bridges, otoacoustic emissions, electronystamograph, auditory evoked responses, VRA, TROCA (Required proficiency)

Nice To Haves

• Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Preferred)
• Cochlear implant experience (Preferred)
• ABA Certification (Preferred)
