The position involves determining the presence or absence of hearing loss and improving communication function in patients with hearing loss, in collaboration with other medical and non-medical staff. The role also contributes to the revision and development of programs to meet the changing needs of the patient population and the institution. The essential functions of this position include understanding and promoting the organization's mission, vision, and core values, determining appropriate diagnostic and evaluative procedures, and providing differential diagnosis of auditory disorders for both in-patients and out-patients.
