About The Position
At Five Star Hearing Center, our licensed Hearing Instrument Specialists are dedicated to helping adults across London, Hazard, Harlan, and Middlesboro, Kentucky hear their very best. We provide free hearing exams, custom hearing aid fittings, and lifetime care — because everyone deserves access to better hearing, no matter their budget. We are a very well-established and reputable private audiology practice, our patients love us (check out our reviews). We’re seeking a full-time Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist for our location in Middlesboro and Harlan, KY. The hours are Monday – Friday 9AM – 5PM. We may consider part-time.
Requirements
- KY Hearing Aid/Audiology Licensure or eligible to obtain.
- Great counseling skills and follow-up care.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service.
- Work independently as well as with a team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments to evaluate hearing issues, including follow-up care with patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and needs.
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing health.
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Stay updated on advancements in audiology practices and technologies.
