About The Position

We are looking for the next Hearing Aid Specialist or Audiologist to join our team in MT. Pleasant and Gladwin, MI! This is a full time- in office position between two clinics. Requirements

  • Active Hearing Aid Dispensing License or Audiology License in accordance with state requirements.
  • 2+ years Hearing Aid sales experience or 2 years equivalent in industry training under a licensed HIS or AuD.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical expertise to diagnose and treat hearing loss while ensuring a positive patient experience.
  • Act in accordance with the required industry and state professional licensing standards.
  • Provide quality care and aftercare of dispensing services such as hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, educate and train hearing aid users of best practices.
  • Perform checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices, including troubleshooting, conducting repairs, and cleaning of hearing aids.
  • Achieve practice growth with a strong mindset on sales and key business metrics while maintaining ethical practice standards.
  • Engage in local community outreach including health fairs and developing physician relationships.
  • Counsel patients on the purchase of their hearing aids, devices, and accessories.
  • Maintain a current understanding of third-party payors and various payment methods in accordance with federal and state laws.
  • Understand and meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly clinical finance targets working closely with your PCC and Manager.
  • Support Telehealth initiatives (Remote Care) to expand patient care and product portfolio.
  • Maintain continuing education requirements based on state requirements.
  • Ability to operate audiometric equipment and to interpret the results.
  • Communicate test results and interpret and propose treatment in a manner easily understood by patients.
  • Lead, Mentor, Grow! Dive deep into management insights and be a part of our growth initiatives.
  • Participate in the Amplify Leadership Program for guidance and exposure to grow as a Leader.
  • Become a proctor or mentor for the next generation of Hearing Care Professionals.
  • Promote and mentor internally for senior leadership opportunities.
