About The Position

At Revere Health, we believe there is a better path to healing and healthcare maintenance, and we're working on this mission—one patient at a time. We're a national leader in a movement called value-based care which aims to improve treatment outcomes and keep costs down. Our internal culture is one that promotes respect and consistently recognizes the impact that individual employees have on the mission of the organization. Our busy ENT office in American Fork, Utah is seeking a full-time licensed Audiologist. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and provide comprehensive audiological evaluations for both pediatric and adult patients, with additional testing including Tympanograms, Acoustic Reflexes, OAE, and Hearing Aid dispensing. As an Audiologist, you will define patient hearing impairment and balance disorders by conferring with referring physicians, selecting and administering relevant tests, and operating diagnostic equipment. You will determine the type and degree of hearing impairment and its effects on comprehension and speech by interpreting audiometric diagnostic data and preparing written diagnostic reports. Additionally, you will provide treatments by selling, fitting, repairing, and reprogramming hearing aids and other assistive devices, while also counseling patients and families concerning aural rehabilitation procedures. Maintaining patient records is crucial, as you will be responsible for recording and updating evaluations, changes, progress, and treatments. You will also improve quality results by studying, evaluating, and redesigning processes; implementing changes; participating in research programs; and evaluating new equipment, devices, and techniques. Providing auditory evaluations and education using hearing protection and hearing loss screening programs will be part of your responsibilities, along with maintaining supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing orders, and verifying receipt. Compliance with legal and accreditation standards to federal, state, and local regulations is essential, as is updating your job knowledge by tracking new trends and participating in educational opportunities.
