About The Position

The Audiologist is responsible for evaluating, treating, and counseling the pediatric, adult, or geriatric patient with hearing disorder in accordance with professional and corporate quality standards. The Audiologist is responsible for the assessment, fitting and follow-up to patients newborn to adult, needing amplification. They will be required to be current on all technology and assistive systems available to the hearing impaired. Must maintain certification and for hearing aid dispensing.

Requirements

  • Doctorate Degree (AuD) in Audiology or fourth year student in externship program.
  • No clinical experience needed.
  • Knowledge of audiology methods and techniques in one or more specialty areas.
  • Knowledge of current hearing aid technology/design and programming.
  • NYS Licenses- Audiologist.
  • NYS registration- Hearing Aid Dealer.
  • CPR certification (or within 6 months).
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License for travel between sites.
