Responsibilities

  • Advise the team lead on developing standard specifications for audio-visual functionality.
  • Assist in planning and designing audio-visual systems to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate work between various departments for effective communication on audio-visual projects.
  • Create and maintain documentation of all AV systems in the district.
  • Demonstrate basic networking knowledge for installation and maintenance of AV control systems.
  • Design, advise, and install audio-visual equipment as directed by the Lead Technician.
  • Communicate efficiently with end users regarding project statuses.
  • Facilitate live streaming and recording services for board meetings.
  • Initiate and monitor warranty procedures for equipment support.
  • Manage daily work schedules according to requests and incident workloads.
  • Monitor and implement critical firmware updates for equipment functionality.
  • Oversee cloud management of interactive displays and wireless solutions.
  • Prepare status reports and user guides for documentation purposes.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting for district-wide AV systems.
  • Support district-sponsored events with before and after-hours assistance.
  • Provide level three support for broadcast labs and programs.
  • Research trends and advancements in audio-visual technology.
  • Respond to questions from staff, parents, and students.
  • Set and maintain appointments with district personnel for service provision.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain various audio-visual systems and equipment.
  • Utilize project management tools for supporting audio-visual projects.
  • Work with end users during and after new technology implementations.
