Under the direction of the Manager, Audio Visual, the Supervisor, Audio Visual will be responsible for supervising the AV Tech and AV Tech II positions including staff scheduling, daily dispatch, training, delegating, and mentoring of AV team members. The incumbent is responsible for Resort Entertainment AV daily operations which include promotional event production, daily venue production, ticketed event production, technical advancing, vendor production, entertainment inventory, trouble shooting, maintenance and/or repair of all entertainment AV equipment. This individual is responsible for both programming and operation of audio, lighting and video equipment as needed in the resort entertainment venues. Must be able to quickly adapt or alter audio, lighting and video equipment situations based on event and/or performer needs. The incumbent will also provide best in class AV services to enhance live Entertainment and Special Events performed throughout Yaamava’ Resort and Casino. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Oversee the Audio-Visual Team inclusive of programming, engineering, operations, setup, testing, and rigging a variety of audiovisual equipment. This equipment includes but is not limited to, digital audio mixing consoles, lighting consoles, microphones, speakers, LED video walls, video switching and PTZ camera operation. PC based lighting control software, intelligent lighting systems, moving head fixtures, up lighting, DMX addressing and Grand MA2/MA3 lighting console operation. Effectively mix and route audio digital mixing consoles using a strong working knowledge of Dante audio routing. Strong proficiency in digital mixing consoles. 2. Assist in the creation and implementation of department guidelines, tech packs, and all necessary administrative needs. Clear understanding of AV Tech skills and strengths in order properly schedule, coordinate and dispatch techs to support venue and/or talent needs. 3. Interpret artist rider and advance show specifications to adequately prepare for live events. Assist with set up of live events per advance including the construction of staging, set up, installation, and back line, which may consist of drum kits, amplifiers, monitors, percussion, keyboards, drum pads, microphones, etc. 4. Track and maintain inventory of equipment at all times inclusive of the AV/Entertainment asset inventory system. Oversees, performs and schedules necessary maintenance and repairs of all equipment and expedite maintenance issues as necessary to appropriate service vendors. 5. Acquires quotes for equipment and supplies as necessary and is responsible for the competitive bid process. 6. Supervise Promotional events and activities in absence of AV Manager. 7. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
