About The Position

We are seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented Audiovisual Specialist to support the Army Fires Center of Excellence located at Fort Sill, OK. This role shall provide daily on-site operational and sustainment support for installed classroom audiovisual equipment (hardware, software, and ancillary and associated items to include networking and Teams video conferencing for FCP classrooms.

Requirements

  • Education/Experience: Associates degree in a related field; OR three (3) years of experience in audiovisual support.
  • Basic knowledge of audiovisual and IT systems operation
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs and work at heights up to 20ft.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
  • Clearance: Must hold and maintain a Secret Clearance
  • Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications: InfoComm International Certification in Audiovisual Technology (CTS preferred)
  • Basic Crestron, AMX, Biamp, and Extron training within 120 days of contract award.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily on-site operational and sustainment support which includes maintaining on a daily basis, a log of performance tasks, customer requests, and known issues.
  • Utilize the Army Enterprise Service Management (AESMP), to track and capture workload.
  • Capture daily and weekly sustainment reporting requirements via the SharePoint ticketing system and SharePoint FCP Repository.
  • Provide status reporting of daily activities, recurring or significant issues, classroom maintenance/preventative maintenance checks and services and problems resolved.
  • Perform monthly preventative maintenance of each installed FCP classroom audiovisual equipment by cleaning/dusting projectors and audiovisual equipment cabinet as needed.
  • Change projector filters and projector lamps as required.
  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve classroom equipment performance issues and replace parts as required.
  • Serve as the classroom support representative for FCP and maintain routine communications with the COR, preform weekly inventory of shelf stock equipment and items.
  • Maintain Common Operating Picture (COP) of all FCP Classrooms.
  • Assist on-site Government and other personnel with daily classroom operation of audiovisual equipment including the providing of user training as needed
  • Provide on-site audiovisual expertise for FCP classrooms.
  • Ensure all FCP classrooms are maintained in a fully functional state and operating as designated to perform Government training.
  • Enter sustainment tickets into FCP SharePoint ticketing systemand monitor tickets until successful completion and ticket close-out.
  • Maintain proper accountability of equipment and repair parts to support daily troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance for FCP classrooms
  • Report daily issues of bulbs and repair parts by classroom in the FCP repository.
  • Coordinate with FCP technical support points of contact to resolve troubleshooting issues
  • Interpret audiovisual signal flow wiring diagrams and schematics; repairing communication cabling as needed
  • Document shipping and receiving of audiovisual equipment repair/replacement parts to include documenting incoming and outgoing materials, labeling and packaging, and shipment of material as required
  • Produce audio products for presentations, ceremonies, conferences, and other events and set up equipment for others' use in accomplishing the same
  • Receive requests for audiovisual equipment and set-up to record ceremonies such as change of command, retirements, awards, presentations, etc.
  • Determine quantity and configuration position of equipment, pack, and transport to and from work site including installation and maintaining equipment during authorized events
  • Test systems prior to use for presentations and ceremonies
  • Develop and manage audiovisual loaner program by maintaining, issuing, and receiving equipment
  • Provide instructions and briefing on the use of audiovisual systems
  • Respond to all classroom service requests within two hours and complete work within 4 hours. Respond to all other service requests within four hours and complete work within eight hours.
