Requirements

  • Advanced skill at troubleshooting and support of AV software and hardware configurations.
  • Experience applying AV industry best practices for complex AV meetings.
  • Exceptional customer service attitude and skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of IS Support operations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of technology currently in use at WilmerHale.
  • Appreciation for the complex roles in a legal environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Cisco and Rally Bar videoconferencing systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and iManage Document Management System.
  • Experience supporting Teams, WebEx, Zoom, Jabber, and Apple FaceTime.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows 10, Google, Android or Apple iOS, and Microsoft Office 365.
  • AV industry certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provides hyper-responsive onsite and occasional offsite setup, use, administration, and support of all of the firm's AV systems and services.
  • Administers the firm's audio and video bridging and media room systems, including wireless microphones and AV recording systems.
  • Provides multimedia meeting support for AV systems including video conference, audio conference, and presentation systems.
  • Communicates effectively with firm Conference Services and Event Coordinators to prepare for complex meeting setups.
  • Performs media file combining and editing as requested.
  • Identifies, researches and resolves technical problems through coordination with others in IS.
  • Manages the delivery of service through well-structured organizational skills and leveraging the firm's conference reservations system and ITSM tool.
  • Responds to requests for AV services via multiple communication channels.
  • Tracks and monitors all issues to ensure timely and effective resolution in the ITSM tool.
  • Works with attorneys and staff to ensure understanding of AV tools and best practices.
  • Configures and installs new or replacement PCs, mobile devices, and presentation tools.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned, including project-related work.
  • Identifies areas for improvement in technical and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment in providing workarounds to AV-related incidents and service requests.
  • Performs daytime, after-hours, and weekend support as needed.
  • Displays professionalism and quality service to internal members and external clients.
