About The Position

ON Site is the “in-house” division of ON Services, a national event production company built to power live event experiences whenever and wherever we’re needed. Though primarily an audio visual company, ON Site prides itself as a leading venue services provider in the hospitality industry. Our mission is to offer the full range of audio visual services in the meeting and events environment, with state-of-the-art technology and hospitality-minded support, to meet and exceed the expectations of both partner venues and our mutual clients.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Six years’ experience with in-house audio visual services; 3 years specific to sales
  • Written, verbal, and comprehension skills in English required. Fluency in a second language is helpful
  • Organization skills and attention to detail are essential
  • Must have finger dexterity to operate office and audio visual equipment as needed
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills must be demonstrated
  • Requires physical mobility, including sitting, standing, walking, stooping, climbing, crawling, grasping, writing, repetitive motions, bending, listening, with applicable hearing and vision ability
  • Ability to work well under deadlines and high pressure, with excellent problem solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Background in music, recording, audio visual, computers or related technology fields preferred
  • Fluency in a second language is helpful

Responsibilities

  • Emphasis on lead generation, proposal creation/tracking, order confirmation, and follow-through to customer satisfaction
  • Focus on larger corporate and association clients with production/staging needs
  • Understand customer vetting process to assess proper pricing and discount policy for maximum capture rate
  • Understand and implement company approval and compliance guidelines for client order confirmation, payment/credit terms, and follow-up collections.
  • Promote exemplary customer service to both our facility customer/partner, and our mutual end-user clients
  • Maintain a professional image, as well as a safe and healthy work environment
  • Complete all required daily paperwork, as well as required ON Site training
  • Lead in training of sales protocols to direct reports and other venue AV Sales Managers
  • Provide sales leads to ON Services as needed
