About The Position

The Audio Visual Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall coordination and maintenance of the audio visual services and IT systems. To oversee daily operations, scheduling, and customer interactions for the AV and IT department, who provide technical assistance with AV equipment, first level computer support for guests, faculty and staff. Maintain client relationships and manage assigned client project initiatives. Ensure that all AV and computing priorities are met in an accurate and timely manner.

Requirements

  • Deep technical knowledge around pro AV, live event production, studio production, post-production, and streaming/broadcast.
  • Design and incorporate pro AV standards on all hardware and software related to live event, studio, and post productions.
  • Monitor and maintain all AV production equipment including but not limited to cameras, video switchers, microphones, audio consoles, lighting fixtures, and cabling.
  • Design, implement, and maintain AV production systems according to customer specifications and industry standards.
  • On location setup, operation, strike of AV productions/shows & events.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall planning, coordination, and execution of event AV.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for all event audiovisual related inquiries and managing client expectations.
  • Oversees the entire event production from start to finish, including but not limited to location, logistics, and on-site execution.
  • Manage a team of event staff, delegating tasks, and responsibilities as needed.
  • Work closely with other departments within the company to ensure all events are properly coordinated and executed in alignment with objectives.
  • Create timelines and schedules to ensure events run smoothly.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and developments, identifying new opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that may arise before, during or after an event.
  • Expertise in AV production technologies and best practices.
