The AV Manager at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science is responsible for overseeing the design, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the museums audio-visual systems. These systems support public exhibitions, planetarium shows, events, educational programs, and internal operations. The AV Manager will lead a team of technicians, collaborate with multiple departments, and ensure a seamless and high-quality visitor and staff experience. Reporting to the Vice President of Technology, the Audio-Visual Systems Manager is responsible for the setup, administration and routine testing of all elements of the Museums audio-visual systems. This role requires the Audio-Visual Manager to develop and maintain a series of key systems within the Museum and ensure that the exhibits are operating and maintained correctly. The role will also include managing and participating in live event set up and support for internal and external events. There will also be an element of supporting the event rental teams in selling the event space capabilities to potential external clients.
