About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual (AV) Inventory Manager to oversee and manage the inventory operations for our AV equipment and supplies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate tracking, management, and maintenance of all AV equipment, including cameras, projectors, microphones, cables, and other audiovisual hardware. The role will require attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work closely with other departments to ensure smooth AV operations for events, productions, or installations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in AV equipment management, inventory control, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of audio-visual equipment, including but not limited to projectors, sound systems, cameras, lighting, and cables.
  • Experience using inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or specialized AV systems).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree or certification in Audio Visual Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of AV system setups, troubleshooting, and maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the tracking, management, and maintenance of all audio-visual equipment, ensuring that inventory is well-maintained, functional, and properly stored.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to reorder AV equipment and accessories as necessary, ensuring proper stock levels and availability for upcoming events or projects.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and physical inspections of AV equipment to ensure accuracy in stock levels, identify damage, and track the condition of each item.
  • Ensure that AV equipment is properly prepared, tested, and packaged for events, installations, or productions. Oversee the distribution and return of equipment.
  • Use inventory management software to track equipment usage, location, and condition. Provide detailed reports on inventory levels, asset turnover, and any maintenance or replacement needs.
  • Identify potential issues that could lead to loss, theft, or damage of AV assets. Implement strategies for preventative maintenance and ensure that all equipment is functioning at optimal levels.
  • Work with other departments (e.g., event planning, production, technical teams) to ensure timely availability and efficient handling of AV equipment for all projects.
  • Maintain relationships with AV equipment suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of products and negotiating favorable terms for equipment purchases and repairs.
  • Ensure that all AV equipment complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies for handling and usage.
