Our Audio-Visual Integration Internship offers a hands-on opportunity to build foundational skills, gain real-world experience, and learn from industry professionals. This ten-to-twelve week, paid internship begins in May, at our New York branch. You'll gain technical expertise, participate in impactful projects, and work alongside technical integration professionals. Through a structured program combining introductory training and practical experience, you'll take your first step toward an exciting career in the AV industry.

Requirements

• Anticipated Associate's/Bachelor's/Trade School Certification
• A strong interest in audio-visual systems and technology.
• Basic technical aptitude with a willingness to learn new tools, systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer service mindset.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Learn about AVI Systems and how this role contributes to our Proven Process for customer satisfaction.
• Plan and execute assigned configuration tasks and verify systems integration wiring connectivity and terminations in both settings.
• Analyze and resolve configuration issues and assist in system solutions analysis, design, and development.
• Assist in reviewing, implementing, and testing patch releases and system firmware upgrades.
• Provide technical support and help clients understand the functionality of AV equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of AV systems to ensure reliability.
• Document service activities and learn standard service procedures.
• Configure manufacturer applications, interfaces, and products.
