In this role, you will provide technical expertise to support the architecture, installation, and planning of audio, video, and control solutions. You will be responsible for completing documentation with a high degree of quality and following Technical Services Standards. This includes creating CAD drawings (flows, plans, elevations, details), system descriptions, equipment research, selection, custom product design, and system integration. Additionally, you will research and analyze the capabilities of available hardware and software options, design audiovisual systems that integrate various hardware and software components to meet customer-specific needs, and support projects and our team throughout the implementation process.

  • Provide technical expertise to support the architecture, installation, and planning of audio, video, and control solutions.
  • Complete documentation with a high degree of quality and follow Technical Services Standards.
  • Create CAD drawings (flows, plans, elevations, details), system descriptions, equipment research, selection, custom product design, and system integration.
  • Research and analyze the capabilities of available hardware and software options.
  • Design audiovisual systems of various hardware and software components that work together as one integrated system.
  • Support projects and the team throughout the implementation process.
  • 3+ years of Design Engineering experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the service and installation of audio, video, and presentation systems.
  • Knowledgeable of control systems (Crestron, QSC, Extron, AMX) and DSP platforms (Biamp, QSC, Clearone, BSS).
  • Ability to prepare, understand, and interpret advanced single-line diagrams, architectural, construction, and electrical drawings.
  • Knowledge of project financial reports and the ability to control costs in the design and management of projects.
  • Ability to read engineering schematics and communicate design intent.
  • CTS and CTS-D certifications are a plus but not required with the right experience.
  • Any other industry-related certifications or training (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Shure) are also a plus.
