Position Summary The Audio/Video (A/V) System Administrator is responsible for maintaining, designing, and supporting enterprise-wide A/V programming standards, asset management, and system consistency across all locations. This role focuses on sustaining deployed A/V solutions, supporting system updates, and ensuring accurate tracking of A/V assets. The AV Administrator serves as a key technical resource for the A/V Engineering, A/V Field Services and A/V Support teams, providing third-tier expertise and assisting with enterprise-wide rollout initiatives. This role works closely with A/V Field Services to ensure successful deployment, documentation, and lifecycle management of standardized A/V systems across the enterprise.

Requirements

  • Must have demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good documentation skills, including the ability to prepare simple documentation, are highly desirable.
  • Polished presentation and communication skills are required, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to measure and communicate key performance indicators to both customers and managers.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Years of Experience: 3+ years of experience work on technology delivery product teams
  • Licenses / Certifications / Registrations: Q-Sys Level 2 and higher

Nice To Haves

  • Experience creating, maintaining, and reporting from a centralized database (e.g., Microsoft Access) or comparable data-management platform.
  • Avixa (CTS) certification or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years) in A/V integration

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining and evolving enterprise A/V programming standards in coordination with the Sr. A/V Systems Administrator.
  • Ensure system programming and configurations are consistent, documented, and aligned across all locations while incorporating operational feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manages accurate, location-specific A/V asset records, system designs, and programming documentation.
  • Build and maintain a centralized database to track deployed assets and configurations, supporting lifecycle planning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and future system upgrades.
  • Assists A/V Field Services with enterprise-wide deployments of A/V system designs and programming updates. Assist with planning, ensure clear documentation and configuration readiness.
  • Provides Tier 3 technical support for complex A/V system issues, including advanced troubleshooting, system validation, and post-deployment resolution.
  • Serves as an escalation point for enterprise A/V systems requiring deep technical expertise.
