  • Design, develop, and maintain audio processing and streaming features for the web client.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate audio functionalities with other web services and features.
  • Optimize audio performance for low latency, high fidelity, and efficiency across different browsers and devices.
  • Implement audio effects, noise suppression, echo cancellation, and other DSP (Digital Signal Processing) techniques.
  • Stay up to date with emerging web audio technologies and standards to continuously improve our audio capabilities.
  • Debug and resolve audio-related issues reported by users or identified through testing.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, contribute to team knowledge sharing, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Digital Signal Processing, Software Engineering, a related field, or a foreign degree equivalent.
  • Must have 4 years of experience in job offered or related occupation.
  • Must have 4 years of experience in: Software engineering with a focus on audio applications in a web environment; Web technologies including JavaScript and Web Audio API; Utilizing C++ in web assembly; Cross-browser development and debugging; Real-time audio processing and streaming protocols; WebRTC and developing real-time communication applications; and Front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
