About The Position

Audio Production Interns primarily assist the WGLT staff with producing content related to our signature reporting series SOUND IDEAS and other programs. The position also prepares individual story segments for use on NPR App (our station's primary listening app) and produces various promos for WGLT. Audio Production Interns are also routinely involved with promo production and other special project work under the supervision of the Content Director or designee.

Requirements

• Requires enrollment in or completion of COM 162/Intro to Radio, CTK 240, or similar experience.
• Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation: -Effectively communicate on a daily basis.

Nice To Haves

• Adobe Audition experience (or comparable software) preferred.
