The Audience Team Coordinator plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations of CNN's Audience organization - ensuring seamless scheduling, coordination, and communication across a 24/7 global publishing environment. This role supports multiple Audience teams, including Homepage Programming, Off-platform, Newsletters, and Content Experience, helping maintain the operational foundation that powers CNN's digital presence.

  • Manage and maintain shift scheduling systems for all Audience teams to ensure appropriate staffing across time zones and publishing platforms.
  • Coordinate time-off requests, shift swaps, and coverage needs to support continuous operations.
  • Communicate schedule updates, changes, and priorities promptly to team leads, deputies, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain clear, consistent calendars and trackers to align coverage as well as communication and ensure transparency across teams.
  • Manage Audience team distribution lists and maintain accurate membership to support smooth communication.
  • Support weekly, monthly and quarterly communications touchpoints across teams and channels.
  • Assist in aligning cross-functional roadmaps, including product roadmap milestones with the Audience team calendar.
  • Support operational consistency and efficiency through additional administrative and cross-team coordination tasks as needed.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time-management and multitasking skills.
  • Effective communicator who can collaborate across editorial, product, and operations teams.
  • Comfortable navigating dynamic, fast-paced news environments with 24/7 global coverage needs.
  • Proactive problem solver who anticipates scheduling challenges and addresses them before they impact operations.
