The Wall Street Journal is seeking an audience strategist to lead the growth and engagement of our audio and video journalism. This is a senior role that has a broad scope and the pace of a global newsroom. As part of the broader content strategy team, you will act as a key partner to our editorial leaders, translating data into insights to ensure our audio and video offerings resonate with our listeners and viewers and are aligned with the overall digital experience. The ideal candidate will be a vital voice in the editorial process, helping to shape audio/video storytelling and strategies to maximize audience impact. This role demands a unique blend of analytical rigor, creative thinking and strategic communication. You should be excited to work in a high-metabolism environment, ready to respond to major news events, and able to operate at a high level while balancing long-term projects with the day-to-day. Our work has been recognized with Emmy-winning videos, and we've expanded our reach with successful new podcast launches, including our marquee show, "The Journal," which has become a cornerstone of our offerings. This role is based in New York and will report to the Director of Content Strategy.
