Vanity Fair is seeking a creative and innovative media talent to join our audience development, social, and analytics team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of how to creatively develop, engage, and inform audiences across various platforms, while being attuned to emerging networks and their potential applications for Vanity Fair. This role involves close collaboration with Vanity Fair's Global Director of Audience Development and the broader audience development team to implement daily strategies focused on SEO, newsletters, and revenue growth. The position is based in New York, with flexibility for remote and in-person work. As the Audience Development Manager, you will work alongside editors, producers, and the audience development team to enhance traffic and engagement across key Vanity Fair subject areas, including Hollywood, royals, politics, scandal, media, and culture. Your responsibilities will include researching search trends and collaborating with editors to refine headlines, publishing strategies, and evergreen content that resonates with our audience. You will also manage and execute curation, scheduling, and strategy for various email products, including Cocktail Hour, HWD Daily, Awards Insider, and the Hive newsletter. In addition, you will partner with analytics and audience development leads to meet Vanity Fair's KPIs, define social and newsletter testing strategies, and conduct in-depth analyses to identify audience growth opportunities. Collaborating with the editorial and art departments, you will promote longform features that are central to Vanity Fair's editorial strategy across platforms. You will also identify effective ways to promote strong subscription drivers on social platforms and newsletters, assist the global audience development director and analytics team with data reporting projects, and seek out global audience growth opportunities through partnerships and platforms. Your role will also involve supporting the social team during breaking news situations and weekend coverage, collaborating with editorial and social teams for live event coverage, and developing relationships with audience development managers across other Condé Nast brands to share strategies and best practices. Additional duties may be assigned as needed or requested by management.
