About The Position

The Auction Relationship Manager is a high-impact, field-based role responsible for growing and managing strategic relationships with independent and corporate auto auctions nationwide. This position combines relationship management, outside sales, dealer services, business development, and auction operations to drive measurable growth in vehicles financed through auction channels. If you have auction experience, auto industry experience, floorplan financing knowledge, or dealership sales experience, this opportunity offers strong visibility and career growth with a national organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of auto auction experience.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple accounts.
  • Analytical problem solver.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Ability to drive long distances.
  • Travel 50-75% (regional and national travel).
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to work in outdoor auction environments and varying weather conditions.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and motor vehicle report.
  • We also conduct pre-employment drug testing.
  • Any job offer will be based on the results of background, MVR and drug testing.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in floorplan financing, auto lending, inventory financing, dealer services, or automotive sales preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with auction owners, general managers, office managers, title clerks, and sales teams.
  • Serve as the primary contact for funding inquiries, title issues, and dealer onboarding.
  • Position Floorplan Xpress as the preferred floorplan lender at assigned auctions.
  • Increase dealer adoption and penetration at both independent and corporate auto auctions.
  • Drive growth in vehicles financed through auction channels.
  • Partner with Account Managers and Account Executives to support dealer acquisition and retention.
  • Identify opportunities to expand market share within assigned territories.
  • Attend auction sales, promotional events, and industry networking functions.
  • Ensure strong brand presence (marketing materials, signage, QR codes, website integration).
  • Coordinate auction visits with field sales teams.
  • Serve as liaison between auction partners and sales teams to maximize financing opportunities.
