About The Position

The Auction Lot Operations Associate works closely with the auction team to coordinate vehicles for sale, review work performed, ensure efficient sale line-up and operational flow. This role involves checking vehicles being dropped off at auction and ensuring delivery, completing all initial vehicle stock-in, manually entering or scanning VIN and adding vehicle identifiers (i.e. color, mileage) into the system, and printing and placing appropriate windshield stickers on the vehicle. The associate will also provide check-in forms daily to the vehicle registration desk, walk the lot to ensure correct windshield stickers are on each vehicle and vehicles are in their appropriate lane and lot number, and communicate with Operations and Reconditioning teams to ensure logistics of vehicles to the shops. Additionally, the associate will move vehicles to their appropriate location on the auction lot, demonstrate commitment to workplace safety by following predetermined safety procedures, provide sale day assistance including lane coordination, locating and moving vehicles, and starting or jumping vehicles, and perform other job-related duties as directed by management.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • May be required to stand, walk, reach, stoop and crouch.
  • Organization and follow-up skills.
  • Reasonable computer skills and the ability to utilize a portable terminal, or tablet preferred.
  • Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
  • Valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
