About The Position

Are you a car enthusiast and looking to make some extra money one day a week? This may be the job for you! As a Sale Day Driver at ADESA, you will help move the cars through the auction lanes while the car auction is going on. The position requires you to drive vehicles across the block following all safety guidelines, safely move, stage, and park vehicles, and report any breakdowns or maintenance needs immediately. You will be trained to ensure that company safety policies and procedures are followed at all times. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors and has a passion for cars.

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be qualified to operate a motor vehicle.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to work outdoors under any type of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles across the block following all safety guidelines including wearing a seatbelt and placing the vehicle in park or neutral when coming to a stop.
• Safely move, stage, and park vehicles in the correct lot area.
• Advise supervisor or lane captain of all breakdowns and maintenance needs immediately.
• Practice and ensure that company safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
• Operate motor vehicles safely and practice conservative, cautious, and courteous driving habits.
• Report to manager or supervisor anything that may jeopardize the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Report all driving-related incidents including traffic citations, warnings, accidents, or mechanical problems.

Benefits

• Pay $17.00 per hour
• Flexible schedule: One day per week from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
