About The Position

We are seeking to empower a highly motivated, goal focused, detail-oriented individual for the role of Auction Coordinator. As an Auction Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in assuring that all auctions are completed in a timely manner and comply with State lien laws. Requirements

  • Must be very detail oriented.
  • Must have the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Knowledge of California lien laws is a plus.
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Accurate record keeping.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Must have home high-speed internet.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the Auction process for all California & Other designated stores.
  • Partnering with Area Managers, Property Managers and Assistant Property Managers to ensure that all auctions are carried out to NSA Standards and in compliance with State Line Laws.
  • Reviewing tenant files to make sure they are eligible for auction. Approving them for auction in property management software.
  • Tracking units throughout the late process and completing all applicable compliance checks.
  • Ensuring that all steps of the lien process are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Elevating any deviation from proper auction procedures or failure by staff to meet deadlines to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Placing legal notices for auctions in various newspapers and coding the credit card charges to the correct locations.
  • Working with store and/or call center staff to offer 'Pay to Vacate' arrangements to tenants as an alternative to auction.
  • Partnering with Learning and Development to make sure that all staff have completed current auction training.
