We're seeking a motivated Attorney to join our growing litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney to build foundational experience, work alongside seasoned litigators, and become part of a high-performing legal team with a focus on creditors' rights.

Requirements

  • Active Colorado Bar license
  • Interest or experience in civil litigation or creditors' rights law
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and work as part of a collaborative legal team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with legal tech systems (Cogent experience is a plus)
  • Occasional travel for court appearances and client conferences
  • Ability to pass a background and drug test

Responsibilities

  • Work with attorneys in handling creditors' rights litigation and related matters
  • Draft pleadings, motions, legal correspondence, and discovery documents
  • Appear in court on matters through trial preparation in both state and federal courts
  • Conduct legal research and stay current with applicable statutes and case law
  • Review case files and assist in the development of case strategy
  • Maintain case management systems and ensure accuracy of legal documentation
  • Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
  • Collaborate with legal staff to ensure deadlines and court requirements are met
  • Lead and support a small legal department
