We're seeking a motivated Attorney to join our growing litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced attorney to build foundational experience, work alongside seasoned litigators, and become part of a high-performing legal team with a focus on creditors' rights.
Requirements
- Active Colorado Bar license
- Interest or experience in civil litigation or creditors' rights law
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and work as part of a collaborative legal team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with legal tech systems (Cogent experience is a plus)
- Occasional travel for court appearances and client conferences
- Ability to pass a background and drug test

Responsibilities
- Work with attorneys in handling creditors' rights litigation and related matters
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal correspondence, and discovery documents
- Appear in court on matters through trial preparation in both state and federal courts
- Conduct legal research and stay current with applicable statutes and case law
- Review case files and assist in the development of case strategy
- Maintain case management systems and ensure accuracy of legal documentation
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
- Collaborate with legal staff to ensure deadlines and court requirements are met
- Lead and support a small legal department
