About The Position
What you will be doing: Represent policyholders in first-party property insurance matters. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis. Manage a diverse caseload of first-party property insurance cases. Engage with insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and other parties in negotiations. Represent clients in court proceedings. Provide clear and concise legal advice to policyholders. Review insurance policies, claim documentation, correspondence, and related materials. Collaborate with a team of experts, attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law and admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
- 4-6 years of experience practicing law.
- Experience with first-party property insurance.
- Exceptional research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
