The in-house insurance defense law office, Amy F. Loperfido & Associates, is located in Philadelphia, PA, and serves the surrounding counties. The office boasts a busy civil trial practice and fosters a congenial, team-oriented professional environment supported by skilled staff. In this role, you will handle cases that involve claims of intermediate to difficult complexity, often with high financial exposure. This includes cases with complex medical issues, catastrophic injuries, or sensationalized accident facts. You will be responsible for managing non-suit tasks in a timely manner, as assigned by management, and will be expected to creatively draw from various areas of law to develop procedural and substantive strategies. Your expertise in cross-examination, expert testimony presentation, and conducting depositions will be crucial, as will your ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while aligning with management in decision-making processes. Additionally, you will prepare detailed reports on complicated cases, mentor other attorneys, and contribute to the development of support staff.
