About The Position

Kirton McConkie has an exciting part-time opportunity for a 5+ year attorney to work in its domestic contracts group. This position has no fixed work schedule, and the successful candidate my vary the number of hours they choose to work each week as long as accepted projects are completed by the agreed upon deadline. Also, this position is primarily remote, with periodic office attendance for training, mentoring, and coordination. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and hard-working, with the ability to perform a wide variety of legal tasks including legal research, writing, and review of many types of contracts. Qualified candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills to collaborate with shareholders and other attorneys to address challenging legal issues. Corporate and international legal experience is helpful but is not required. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, demonstrate a commitment to ethics, be able to work with minimal supervision, and ensure that tasks are completed in a timely, organized, and efficient manner. Candidates must be a member of the Utah Bar or another U.S. state Bar, and where applicable be willing to take the Utah State Bar exam as soon as possible, obtain reciprocity, or activate their Utah Bar membership. The firm will pay for the expenses involved with obtaining active Utah Bar licensure.
